Welcome to Triperic, an online social platform for travel enthusiasts, where we offer both digital and physical products and services, including digital downloads, physical goods, online tools, and subscription services. By using Triperic, you agree to the following terms.
1. Definitions
- “Triperic,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to a sole proprietorship incorporated under Belgian law, trading as Triperic, with registered office at Liersesteenweg 30, 2520 Ranst, Antwerp, Belgium. The sole proprietorship is registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (CBE) under company number BE0837.341.810, Antwerp Trade Register, Antwerp Division. www.triperic.com
- “Platform”: the travel community platform managed by Triperic.
- “User”: any visitor or subscriber to the Platform.
- “Premium Member”: a User with a paid subscription.
- “Triperic Points”: Points awarded to active users for content or referring new premium members; redeemable for Triperic products or services.
- “Agreement”: the agreement between Platform and User based on these terms and conditions.
2. Account and user obligations
- You are at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into an agreement.
- You provide correct information when registering and ensure confidentiality of your login.
- You use Triperic only for honest, legal activities.
3. Points system
- Users earn points through activity on the platform (e.g. logging in to the platform, posting content, commenting on content, etc.). More information can be found on our Triperic Points page.
- Earned points can be exchanged for products or services as stated on the website.
- Points are personal, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated.
4. Content and usage rights
- You retain the rights to the content you post (photos, comments, travel experiences, etc.).
- You grant Triperic a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable, royalty-free license to display, edit (such as resizing or cropping), distribute, and use your content for the operation and promotion of this platform, Localistings, social media, and other commercial purposes, in any form or medium, without time limitation.
- Triperic is not liable for user-generated content. You warrant that you own the rights to such content and will not post any content that is illegal, misleading, offensive, or infringes anyone’s rights.
5. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Statement explains how we collect and use your data. By using Triperic, you agree to this.
6. Suspension or termination
- In the event of violation of these terms, misuse of features, or fraudulent activity, we may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your access.
- Where possible, we will inform you in advance and give you the opportunity to make a correction.
7. Liability
- Triperic is a platform that connects users. We are not liable for any damage or inaccuracies caused by other users, nor for the results of using the platform.
- Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you actually paid to Triperic in the preceding twelve months (if applicable).
8. Changes
- We may update these terms from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes by email or a notification on the platform.
- Your continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
9. Applicable law and disputes
- Belgian law applies to these terms and conditions.
- Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Belgium.
- The original Dutch version of these terms and conditions may have been translated into other languages. These translations are provided for informational and internal use only, and no rights can be derived from them. In the event of any discrepancies or conflicts between the Dutch version and a translated version, the Dutch version shall prevail, apply, and be considered final to the extent legally permitted. The Dutch version is available on our platform (by selecting the Dutch language) or can be provided upon written request.
